The discussion of war games like Modern Warfare games are creating violence is to me completely false. In games like Modern Warfare it shows scenes and actions that a normal human wouldn't be able to achieve. You can't get shot 5 times, wait, and get your health back no. If you get shot in real life you're going to be down for the count. Saying games like modern warfare are causing people to become more violent is like saying Dora from dora the explorer actually knows her way without a map.
There are much much more violent games out now such a Grand Teft Auto, A 3rd person shooter game where you join a gang and you shoot and kill people for the deed and money. But how many people actually do these things. Not many, if so the television news broadcast would be going haywire and nuts with news of someone in a helicopter shooting down people in the streets or some maniac going 130-mph down a manhattan street. No you never hear any of that, nor do you hear about a building blowing up by rocket launchers shot at it. In my opinion there are no such thing as imitating the actions that happen during these games.
If you look at the game from a army mans perspective it could help them simulate the actions the do on the battle field and it can help them in a long cause to better themselves in military tactics. They're the best way to simulate combat and people have to realize this.

Gallipoli's remake
In the trailer for the remake of Gallipoli there shows this scene(right) that shows bodies of dead soldiers lined up after death. Previously there was also another scene of the graveyard full of soldiers graves. World War I showed the greatest death count at that time with Millions dead, and more injured. With that number of dead I'm sure that america had to pull people out of their jobs to go fight at war and drafted just about anyone. Leaving wives without husbands or sons, and work stations empty. Society plummeted economically and morally at the decline of the 1M+ soldiers winding up dead.
War letters are wars on their own
During the war Soldiers would send these war letters to their Children, Wives, Girlfriends, Fiances, Mothers, Fathers, etc. These letters took days to send back to the family and were a one-way. Which means they sent the letters and never received a reply. Im guessing that could have been a frustration, or one of them could have been that they wrote something wrong in the mailing address and the family could have never received it. But I think the biggest is the fact that some soldiers ended up dying before the letter even reached their love ones. There were plenty of frustrations that could have occurred but sadly i'm not in the soldiers shoes.
Weekly Article 01
10,000 BC is an excellent prehistoric epic to show both political and economic imperialism. It deals with the time Period of 10, 000 BC(Obviously) and a young mammoth hunter from the "Other side of the mountain" fighting his way to the "City of the Gods" to rescue the love of his life from the clutches of the Slave-catchers and take down the corrupted empire ruled by one of the three "gods"
In the movie there are the rulers and the slaves. These rulers go around stealing and snatching people to do slave work.
These Slave-catchers run from village to village on horse back to find their strongest men to become slaves, they'll destroy their civilization and take their women. The slave-catchers are implying Political Imperialism because they are taking workers from other villages and making them their own against their will. If they speak against it they get punished. It's very much like the annexation of hawaii because these slave-catchers came and took whatever they had and the citizens (well slaves) couldn't do anything against their power and didn't try to because the fear of being killed in the attempt.
Later on in the movie the slave-catchers take the slaves to their city and force them to work with no pay or benefits. And if you were selected by their "God" You'd be sacrificed for rain. You had no say in the matter it was either work or die. This resembles economic imperialism because, well you don't have to pay slaves anything. They work for their lives as bad as that sounds it's true it happens and probably is still happening in this word as it is. Politically if I was a ruler I wouldn't want to waste my money on paying workers, I rather use that money on weapons or food or just military and science advancement, i'm not trying to say slave work is the way to go but if I was a dictator with a Dr. Evil Complex that would be the way i'd go.

Coup d'etat?
The United States' hidden agenda: The School of Americas. It has yet to be announce true or false with just a "No comment" Allowed.
In my opinion I don't think that America should stick their noses into other countries political affairs, If they're our allies then all for it go ahead and don't hesistate. So my answer is: It depends on the cause.

Imperialism is a bad thing guys
In http://en.internationalism.org/inter/156/iraq
it shows how imperialism is taking affect in Iraq right now due to american powers.
And to my honest opinion it is more political imperialism because it deals with the large war going on with them and deaths on iraqi and american soldiers adding a bit a what seems yellow journalism into play.

Yellow Journalism is not as tasty as Yellow Snow
"The Siege Of New Orleans"
That is a way of stating Yellow Jounalism, Yellow journalism is actually going on right now as we speak, Well not as much since the war in Iraq has been placed to a stop. But with soldiers still in Iraq as soon as something big happens to them best believe that Journalism will exploit that into yellow journalism
